I've never seen Dr Chen before & this was a follow-up appt to an emergency visit during Memorial weekend up north. I didn't even think I needed this appt as there was no symptoms since my incident. The discussion from Dr Chen was enlightening & informative. I came away feeling very informed & taken care of. Thank you!

Provider totally disregarded anything I had to say. Never listened to what I was trying to tell you about the issues I was having. I felt so degraded as a patient.
I was referred to Dr. Chen after three general surgeons were not able to diagnose my GI bleed (stomach) after 12 weeks, 11 transfusions and several EGDs. Dr Chen is so personable and I was immediately at ease. He called me personally at my home 3 hours north of MSP to discuss a plan even before I had been seen by MN GI physicians. At my office visit, Dr Chen was concerned enough to send me directly to the hospital, where I was soon diagnosed with GAVE, and immediately treated as an inpatient.
