Zona 78 Good atmosphere, fun place to go out to. The pizza is very good and the appetizers are exceptional. I would eat at Zona 78 way more except for the fact that it is not located near the university.
Good vino and good Pizza – The pizza was thin crusted and flavorful and the soups very hearty! They have wonderful pricing on a very good wine list and that is without their special deals! We'll be back and spread the word!
Ok. – The pizza was pretty good. Not the best i have had around town, but in the top 5. The service was very slow. The server didnt even understrand what i ordered the first time. We will be back as we understand how it is in the industry. I hope they are better next time. We sre surprised a manager or something didnt come to our table at all.. shrug
Excellent on everything – I went this restaurant twice so far. For both visits, food was very fresh and tasty. The price was very reasonable for the quality, especially during the happy hours. Their services were great. The atmosphere is sophisticated and romantic. Just excellent for everything. I recommend this restaurant so much.
Best Casual Dining/Pizza in Tucson – I don't know where these people have been eating but Zona 78 is seriously the best value for the money anywhere in town. All the dishes are super fresh and they have the best pizza in Arizona, even better than Biancos in Phoenix. The service is great, people are friendly and the food is fab.
nothing great. – just tried it. Nothing I hate more than a place that charges me $13 for a sub par plate of spaghetti and m/b for $13 and I don't even get salad with it? $5 for a side salad? Ridiculous. $7 for a bowl of soup. Come on. It is not this fancy shmancy place but just an italian restaurant that can't even give you complimenary bread .
Great Thin Crust Pizza Highly recommended for the thin crust and the atmosphere. The pasta, not so much. My wife loves the prickly pear margaritas, but watch out they are expensive.
Great place but not the best pizza – I agree that Zona 78 has some great selections, but it if definitely not the best pizza. After searching for years in tucson (And we travel all over the country in search of the best pizza), we finally stumbled across the best pizza at a little place in Oro Valley called sassos. That aside Zona 78 has some great food and their service is good also.
It's the place to be for great food and service! – Zona 78 has the best pizza in tucson, its thin crust and organic toppings are fabulous! I have been coming to Zona 78 for years and have never once had a bad experience. The Staff is polite, helpful, attentive and completly service oriented.
