Our son was visiting from Minnesota. We took him to Zombie Burger because we knew he'd like the food -- and he did. He ordered a Walking Ched and thought it was one of the greatest burgers he'd ever had. It was a bit noisy, but it was a Saturday night so that's to be expected.
Place was outstanding, period. The staff could have had a better attitude.

I ordered the East Village of the damned. If you love gooey cheese then you will love this burger. I felt it lacked acidity like pickles, it was overpowered by the cheese croquette. It was supposed to have mushroom, but I didn't taste or see any on mine. The tenderloin was huge but lacked flavor. We sat outside on the patio so I can't say much about the interior atmosphere. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean for a place with such decadent food. Will we return? Probably not, but mostly because we live 129 miles away.

Excellent service by Bergeron on a busy day. Suggest any sauces with mustard be clearly defined. Wife cannot tolerate it. The chilli gravy cheese fries were diabolically good. Burger was decent.
I will definitely visit Zombie burger again!!! I loved the dine in or first come first serve seating options.. my daughter had the Mac -n- cheese burger and it was unique and delicious!! We also had the Brussels sprouts and my hubby is picky w those usually but he loved them!! I had the "Juan of the dead" w the jalapeño and cheese ! So good!Thank you for the great experience
Best place for lunch in DM. I try something new every time I'm their. The best so far is the walking ched
Love the atmosphere and the food. Plus it's nice to have some home away from home with Surly on tap. Can't wait to go back.
