Awesome experience. Everything was delicious, the decor and menu was really fun and creative. I suspect when people comment that there was horrible service, it's because they are used to waiters being overly fake and up your ass. The staff was perfectly nice, but efficient because it's a busy restaurant--maybe that's another instance where people are getting the impression of bad service? It is a place that a friend of mine told me about when I came into town to be part of an event that was being held. Now every time I am in town I have to stop by, because it has amazing food. I strongly recommend The Walking Ched if it is your first time there.
Delicious selection of burgers and shakes, the price was decent, and the service was great... Came through Des Moines on our trip from Nebraska just to stop here.

The spiked shakes were awesome. I tried the the Capt'n Crunch Crunchberry. It was everything I hoped for. However, for a "burger" joint. I wasn't pleased with the burgers (could be I chose the wrong one). I would recommend this place though. We had a good time.
