Great service, fAsT carry out. Parking sucked. ( only complaint )
I was visiting from out of town and was told to check this place out. Fun atmosphere and good beer selection. They offered unique gourmet toppings for your burger. However, the actual burger itself is nothing to write home about. There are much better gourmet burgers in my hometown and probably elsewhere in Des Moines, than the patties at this restaurant. Go for the atmosphere, beer and fries but maybe skip the burgers.
I've come here multiple times. I used their online ordering service for the Downtown location the first time last weekend and had some issues, but they righted their wrongs. I will recommend ZB to others and continue my patronage. Thanks for having vegan options! Also, the bartender, Amanda, that served me and my friend this weekend was great. She was super cute and attentive!
Highly recommend food was great shakes were to die for :) & service was fun and servers were really nice enjoyed it very much. My first visit to the downtown location to loved it plan another visit again some time :)
Always great food and service. I try a different sandwich every time I come and the spiked shakes are great too.

Just driving around Des Moines, Iowa and found this great restaurant for lunch.
My first time here, and I was greeted with smiles,hello, and our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable, and she made my experience worthwhile! Our food we ordered was fast,tasted wonderful, and I loved the atmosphere around when we dined. I will definitely be back, and recommend family and friends to Zombie burger!
Never disappointed....service wasn't to friendly tho.
