The theme is awesome...being a fan of Zombies. The themed food, the atmosphere, the service. I had their weekly special burger called "The Penny Wise". It was awesome. Two beef patties,buttered popcorn cheese sauce, bbq seasoned funnel cake fries, corn dog battered bacon, on a pretzel roll. It was the fair in a sandwich. Will definitely be back.
Very disappointed. Sandwich was cold and mushroom was very undercooked. It was not busy at the time, 1:30. Our server was very accommodating and did what she could to make our dining experience acceptable.
Omg I had the walking chedd for my first time being there and it was BEYOND AMAZING!!!!! I could eat that every day. But I'm in Florida now so I need someone to like FedEx me one. Lol

The Health Department has not yet approved us to ship sandwiches via FedEx. For right now you'll just have to plan your next trip to Iowa for a Walking Ched. 😉

My son and future so I law and myself went there after a week event. Had a wonderful time!! Food was fantastic!!
First time there, LOVED It! Had fried pickles and there SW chicken salad. It was delicious! Server was one of the best we've had Ever!
I finally got to make it to Zombie Burger and I was super impressed with the service and the excellent food. Our waiter was fantastic and on top of everything. I guarantee I go back everytime I am in Des Moines. You guys are awesome! Love the decor, and definitely loved the shakes
