In the age of Covid19, I was so happy to be able to meet/see my doctor within a couple of days of referral. I was incredibly happy with the degree of professionalism from his staff! Bravo for the wonderful communication! And, Dr. Zitomer's a little younger than I expected, he was well versed with my previous doctors. He is just excellent. A+++ for all!
Dr Zitomer is very professional and very caring..When you speak to Dr Zitomer you feel very comfortable..Does not rush your conversation explains everything to you..Take time to answer all your questions.. His office staff is probably better than any other office I ever called..
Dr. Zitomer and his entire staff were amazing! I was put at ease the minute I was taken back into the procedure area for my first colonoscopy. Dr. Zitomer came in before the procedure to talk to me, before the anesthesia was administered and checked on me afterwards. He is knowledgeable, top rated in his field, personable, and compassionate. I highly recommend him!
Excellent doctor. Beware the administration, which may or may not follow up, support patients or schedule correctly. They have a portal, but never mentioned it when trying to get me documentation needed to prepare for a procedure.
I've been seeing Dr. Zitomer for a number of years. He has done a number of endoscopy procedures on me, now looking back, most were not warranted. His diagnostic skills or ability to take interest in the patient's condition are sub-par. I have to say that he does the endoscopy quete well. If you need to diagnose or treat a complex GI issue, him or this office is not going to help or care. There is no continuation of care and no follow up with him or his office.
Seeing Dr. Zitomer for about six or seven years. I have to have a colonoscopy every other year. For the "off" years, I see a Physicians Assistant. No problems. The year I have my semi annual colonoscopy everything is professional - all staff - and afterwards when I am coming around the Dr. comes in and explains everything clearly and answers all questions.
Dr. Zitomer is extremely compassionate and knowledgeable. Being new to the area, I feel extremely lucky to have found him. Hands down one of the best physicians I have ever seen!
I've been seeing Dr. Zitomer for a number of years. While he is very good, the office is the worst I have dealt with. You cannot schedule an appointment with Dr. Zitomer for months. There is no follow up, it is impossible to get a question answered, etc. His PA (Sergeant) has ordered lab tests. We could not get test results for days. Had to directly call the lab. Like I said, no continuation of care and no follow up.
