ordered an installation kit to finish interior upholstery to have my corvette back by July 4th weekend. Paid $50 for FedEx priority shipping. Zip rep assured me I would have it the next day. They dropped the ball didn't get until today. Won't get my car from the upholstery shop until next week. Edited: 2025-07-03: To their credit, you can see the company responded below and attempted to make amends, however communicating was apparently lost to their own support members. I did see the request for funds but there was no additional information. When I called the support team again to get clarification (thinking it was probably an attempt to fix the issue), they said they had no idea why the request came through and it was probably part of the refund, so I had no idea what it was about. I have spent around $1500 with Zip in the last month getting a car up and running for my wife’s grandfather. I had received an alternator that was bad and needed to ship the bad one back and get a new one shipped to me. Unfortunately I had to be charged for the new one and wait for a refund. I was totally ok with that. What I’m not ok with is that I was refunded LESS money than what I was charged for the new good one! I called in to understand why and maybe get this corrected.
