Every time we go to the down town location the service it horrible. We tried giving it one more try but filming a commercial was apparently more important then serving guests, waited 15 minutes for service and then walked out...never again.
Took over an hour to get a salad. When I got it I asked for silverware they said, "I'm sorry, unfortunately were out", and didn't return for 45 minuets. Finally after an hour and thirty minute wait (and not being able to eat my salad) I got my one slice of pizza. I wouldn't have been upset if the waiter or manager would have kept me in the loop or at least acknowledged me, instead they just walked by. Love the pizza ! But the seating was not so good! Good times in Nebraska!
Took an hour to get cold calzones served to us on a dirty table. When the food finally came out we had no silverware so had to wait another 3 minutes in order to eat. We have been to zios many times over the years, and every time we go it is worse than the time before. Every time we say, "this is the last time". Well this time pushed us to the point of it actually being the last time. Great pizza. Great calzone. We don't live on Omaha, but we love to eat at Zio's.
Had a great time with my kiddos last night. New York king size is the bomb..

The environment was pleasant, though I could see some tables in need of servicing despite it not having yet gotten busy. It did get busy after I and my party arrived and had already received our food. It is unfortunate that, instead of talking at the back of the room, they couldn't be out on the floor keeping the dining area spotless. The food was great, I had a salad and my two associates had calzones. The salad, for what I paid, was well worth the money. The staff were friendly and professional.
