REALLY good food and service. Especially liked craft breads and that were were provided tasting plates for their famous MacNcheese plus pulled pork with two sauce samples. I had their Amish Free Range chicken - outstanding (and as a Pastured Free-Range chicken farmer, I know good chicken)! This place is a must do when in town. Reservations recommended.
Unfortunately, recent trips to Zingerman's Roadhouse have been a let down. I went for Saturday brunch and ordered coffee and food at the same time. After 20 minutes had passed, the food came before the coffee. I got up to ask about the coffee, which was then brought. The portion size was OK but not high enough quality or large enough for the price, and the eggs were served lukewarm. The visit prior to this I was served blackened and burnt macaroni and cheese. Not only did I find delicious gluten free options, our server, Ayah, was amazing! She knew all about the gluten free options and was really on top of things. Not to mention very friendly! Had an amazing experience and will definitely come back.
