I’ve toured this many times (3 different units) and considered renting here. 1. The quality of cabinets counters and appliances is usually quite good. Many use standard appliances as ‘luxury’ apartments but I find the washing machine and thermostat are usually nicer. 2. Many people have small upgrades like a curtain to provide shade on the porch or built in book shelves. It’s a nice touch. 3. It’s right next to Zilker and the trail. These apartments are scary just to walk by- off leash dogs everywhere, most of them belonging to people coming out of the complex. Seems like the community must encourage their residents to have their dogs illegally off leash, or at least does not sufficiently dissuade them.
I have lived at Zilkr on the Park for over 4 years. The location can absolutely not be beat. The General Manager, Javier Cansino, is extremely professional and does a great job fielding requests and tending to resident needs. Now there is another person in the office as well - Rosy - who has been so helpful for me in fixing my fob issue! Very grateful to them both. It is a good community here - Joanne, the housekeeping staff, the grounds staff...a good place to live!
