I contacted this shop asking specifically for MRT recap tires on Michelin casings. I was told they had eight Michelin X-Line Energy casings in stock and would accept my used Michelin casings as credit. The price quoted was $2,180 with my casings, or $2,800 without. When I arrived, I was told by the boss himself that they didn’t have X-Line Energy, but had another tread design—still on Michelin casings. I agreed.
