Zia's was our first place for dinner when we visited Santa Fe a couple of weekends ago. It was wonderful! The waiter was a little slow but the food was worth the wait. The dessert are decadent!
Not sure what happened to Zia. Have really noticed this summer 2015 that the wait staff is always standing around talking to each other - - not customers. Had the worst service last night from Nathan. One word - RUDE! I left my Ray Ban sunglasses on the table. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that they were not turned in. I will not be returning.
Received food poising yesterday, very upset that the contaminated food was served to my 14 month old who also began throwing up shortly after ingesting his dinner which I shared with him.
The food was ah-mazing! Upscale comfort food with yummy New Mexico twist! I'll be back!
On Zia Dinner! What happened? This used to be a great place to eat but after dinners drive ins and dives put it on the tourist radar it went from dinner to dive. I ended up losing my lunch (literally) in the restroom when I was here today. Not going back again that's for sure!
When you tire of waiting for a table in the myriad of shoe box sized "upscale" eateries Santa Fe is famous for, do yourself a favor and visit Zia Diner off Guadalupe St. Zia's has Amazing food (vegan & non) and a spacious art deco interior... not to mention the best breakfast burrito I've ever had the pleasure of eating.
