My Experience with Dr. Zhang To begin with, Dr. Zhang helped stabilize me with medication, for which I am grateful. However, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend her due to office policies that seem designed solely for her benefit rather than patient care. Here are the concerns I encountered: 1. She charges $25 just to refill a prescriptions OR an office/ Zoom appointment, to refill meds including your insurance copay. 2. My "wife" and I moved to Atlanta >1 year ago and were looking for a psychiatrist for her since we moved from another state. After seeing Dr. Zhang for the past year, it turns out she has been encouraging my "wife" to separate/divorce without knowing anything close to the full situation. A doctor should "first, do no harm." Dr Zhang is the third psychiatrist I sought out in Atlanta area in the last decade , and the last , because she is the best . Extremely knowledgeable, patient and compassionate. Over a course of a few years we are able to figure out the best medication combination to address my diagnosis. She is also very respectful and considerate to my personal inputs in each session. Finding the right psychiatrist makes a world of difference, and I stick to Dr Zhang even if I have to pay out of pocket .
