Great waxing, great deals Love it! – I have been going to Zena's since I moved to Baltimore in August. I was a little nervous but read online reviews and found Elizabeth and seriously lucked out. She is quick and talks throughout the entire process (I'm in and out in like 10 min!) so you don't even feel uncomfortable. More over, if you ever mention you have a special event coming up, she takes the time to pluck anything extra and even gives you free samples for treatment of ingrown hairs. Im a client at Zena's in Mt. Vernon. Elizabeth waxes me and never double dips, even on eyebrows. This place Is FUN and professional!
Unsanitary/Rude – I went for a brazilian. Elizabeth was nice and all, but towards the end I noticed she had been using the same wooden stick the entire time, dipping and re-dipping it into the wax. Every spa I've ever gone to has had a strict policy against this because it is incredibly unsanitary and can lead to cross-contamination. Gross!!! Waxing – I went to Zena's for a brazilian wax. I was new to the area and to the salon. I had my appointment with Elizabeth and she made me feel comfortable, was chatty and fun, and did a great wax job! I would go back YES!
Waxing – I went to Zena's in Mount Washington to get a routing waxing. I was given an appointment with Elizabeth. She was very professional, polite and made me feel at ease.
Best Facial Ever Ask for Yuliya – I recently went to Zena's in Mount Vernon for a facial. I was a bit apprehensive because I was asked to take my top off, but it was well worth it. The lady who gave me the facial is named Yuliya. She is extremely professional, polite and knows what she is doing, not only did she give me an amazing facial, I got a great paraffin treatment for my hands, a deep facial mask and the icing on the cake, a mini massage with hot stones that blew my mind. Robert Terry – I have read all the reviews for Zena's and I can only imagine the people with negative reviews either had a fluke experience, are miserable hard to please people or just don't understand certain things about businesses providing personal services. Robert Terry – Robert at Zena's has been doing my hair for about a year now and I absolutely love him! He is very knowledgeable and I always leave with fabulous hair. I can't even count how many different hair stylists I have gone to but none of them have given my fine hair the volume that Robert has.
