Have eaten at ZZ once or twice every week for years now (right from the time ZZ was started in Lawrence ;)...That should in itself say it all ;)).
Great food. Great drinks. Great staff. Great atmosphere. Did I mention great?
THE-BEST-PHAD THAI--EVER My wife and I used to eat there all the time when we lived in Lawrence and ,unfortunately, we haven't been able to find anything like it since we moved. We've even talked about making a 4 hour trip up to Kansas just for their phad Thai!
Zen Zero has a great variety of dishes, so it's likely for everyone in the group to find something they like! The establishment is exceptionally clean for a busy downtown restaurant. The staff is kind & attentive. They have a high level of professionalism, which I appreciate. My favorite dishes are Thupka (spicy noodle soup with tomato chutney & optional dumplings), Spring Roll Salad & Thai Dry Red Curry (has string beans & chicken).
My first Thai food experience and I was not disappointed! We'll be back.
Deep flavor to satisfy any pallet... The chicken Pad Thai is a must have...
