I was a little anxious going into my appointment because I usually don't go to fancy salons, but they instantly made me feel comfortable and at ease as soon as I walked in the door. The vibe was so calming and my hair is so good I can't wait to get back!

I can't recommend Marrisa at Zen Salon on Detroit in Westlake enough! If you tell her exactly what you want, that's what you'll get! And she's so sweet, everyone at Zen will make you feel welcome. I have long hair, and for the past 5 years since moving to the area I always leave the different salons I've tried with what I call a "generic" cut and color. Marissa is amazing!! I have been going to her for over a year now. She is friendly & caring. She brings my hair back to life. Every time she does highlights, my hair feels amazing & refreshed.

Marissa is amazing! I get my hair cut like 2 times a year and she always makes me feel welcome! It’s hard to find someone who can cut my unruly hair and it look good whether I wear it curly or straight!

My mom needed a haircut badly and wanted to try the salon I visit so we made an appointment with Marissa. She listened to what my mom wanted and was so kind. The haircut turned out so cute and my mom was pleased.
