Maybe the coupon is to put up with their curt and unfriendly service. I don’t listen to bad reviews because they’re usually outliers, but this man made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. Maybe it was a cultural thing. Maybe I caught him at a bad time. I don’t know. What I do know is that I was in and out of there in MINUTES! They are appropriately named ZAP. I think their speed outweighs their shortcomings of customer service.
Great service at Zap Smog! The owner was friendly, professional, and made the whole process quick and easy. My smog check was done perfectly, and I was in and out in no time. I highly recommend this shop!

HIGHLY UN-RECOMMENDED!!! DON'T GO TO THIS SMOG PLACE! I arrived a 7:50 am to be first and the owner hadn't shown up at 8:15 am when they were supposed to open at * am. Took time off the morning from work to get it done. I called at 8:30 and the owner said, "I was late.". I went the next day (today) again at 7:50 am and the owner showed up to open at 8:10 am and walked over to me sitting in the car and said it will take him 15 - 20 min to open.
