My first time there and it was really nice. It was crowded some but not overly crowded. They had 2 good bands Saturday... Hecklers Breakfast and Freekbass were both awesome.
Dennis is courteous, expedient, efficient, and kind. I've got a bevy of years of experience behind the stick myself, and I must say that the service Dennis provides inspires me to be a better bartender myself. My husband and I just purchased a home in Audobon Park 2 months ago, and Dennis has sealed the deal on where our home bar will now be. Thank you for the amazing and personal service. You guys rock!
This was my first time at Zanzabar since the music area remodel. All I can say is bravo Zbar!!! What a great venue....and it was good before but now I would say the perfect small venue. Now, the stalls in the women's restrooms in the other side are so tiny. Now I'm 5'11" so I get that I may be a little cramped...but my partner is 5'2" and said the same thing. Oh well.....

I love this place. I highly recommend going. Sawyer was amazing. The new renovation is great.
OMG! The guys that own this bar are so awesome. Met them on the way back from U2 concert. Not only did they give us a lift to Zanzabar they also gave us a private tour. This bar is the best! Great service! Awesome atmosphere! Makes us want to come to Louisville just to hang out here. John and Hans are the best! This is the best bar ever - seriously.
Fantastic sound and they have Star Wars and Game of Thrones pinball machines. What more could a boy ask for?
I love this bar! It's gotten so much better too. Can't wait to see what bands come around now. A guarantee good time with the great food, beer selection s, awesome concert area and let's not forget the games!!!!
