Dr. Mahmood is a highly skilled surgeon. He doesn't rush through an appointment, he will sit and speak with you to ensure you completely understand all possible avenues to resolve your issue. Dr. Mahmood is a kind, compassionate and dedicated surgeon who is worth the waiting time to see him. If you're waiting past your appointment time, it's because he is giving another patient the high-quality care that you will also receive. I'd be willing to pack a lunch if need be. This surgery was the third he performed on my hand, for ... read more

Longer waiting room wait than expected. Very large waiting room with constant flow of patients in and out. Last visit I waited an hour for a 10 minute consult dismissing me as diagnosed and healed half way through the treatment, probably due to the fact that I did not subscribe to further visits to "physical therapy" contraindicated by the pharmaceutical company's own solution not requiring further visits but strongly advising the home exercises that I chose instead of milking my insurance unnecessarily. I have found this pr... read more

Dr. Mahmood performed my knee surgery after a patellar tendon rupture. He did a wonderful job with the surgery, and I had many follow up visits with him to check that I was progressing well. He was very kind and considerate and took his time to answer all of my questions. In the beginning, he had a more conservative approach to my recovery, which I appreciated, as he really wanted to make sure I healed. I'm really grateful that Dr. Mahmood was my surgeon and would definitely recommend him to others.

WONDERFUL. EVERY APPOINTMENT WAS ON TIME.DR. MAHMOOD KNEW EXACTLY WHAT HAD TO BE DONE, EVERY THERAPY SESSION WAS ON TIME. EVERYONE VERY NICE, NICE OFFICE. I HAD TWO PIP REPAIRS 6 WEEKS AGO. FULL RECOVERY TIME IS 12 WEEKS . NO MORE PAIN, HAND IS VERY USEFUL AGAIN. DID TAKE A LONG TIME TO GET AN APPOINTMENT WITH HIM, AND A LONG TIME TO SET UP THE SURGERY. VERY POPULAR GUY AND WORTH WAITING FOR.

I loved Dr. Mahmood. I went to him for an issue with my tendons and he tried a cortisone shot first to see if that would help and then we ended up having to move forward with surgery. I'm a bit over a month post-op with no issues and able to use my hand much more normally. He has such a warm, friendly personality and actually has a sense of humor! I have the same issue in my other hand and I will go back to Dr. Mahmood for surgery on that one too if the time comes.
