Come have lunch and dinner with us! Meet the Business Owner Greg M. Business Owner Zack Garvin was a local farmer that paraded his cows down Main Street on Fridays. He took beef orders and delivered the cuts of beef to the citizens of Newton that week. Zack's was named, by family members, after their great grand father Zack.

RecommendedExcellent service and wonderful food. Really is a cut above.
We were super excited to try this place but our experience was far from what we expected. First, the fried green tomatoes were undercooked. We both ordered a steak with shrimp and crawfish grits. My husbands steak was slightly overdone but he didn’t send it back. My filet (Medium) on the other hand was served with a cold red center. Normally I will eat a medium rare steak but as I’m currently pregnant I didn’t want to take the risk - so I sent it back. They brought the steak back out cut into 4ths - and it was like rubber. The ribeye with the etouffe on it was absolutely amazing.
Zack Gavin’s has great steaks, yummy fish, and fun people to share them with you and your guests. Small menu means everything is done well every time! Highly recommended
