I recently had Dr. Zachary Shirley perform a hip replacement on my badly worn hip at Methodist Hospital West in Katy. I cannot say enough good things about how well this went. The entire experience went without a hitch. I received the best care that I could ask for in a world class facility, with an excellent orthopedic surgeon. I had dealt with intense pain in hips that moved into thighs including thigh numbness and a stabbing feeling mid thigh. He did X-rays but I told him I think it’s a torn muscle or something. I did X-ray anyway and as I figured, hips fine according to those. I asked about an MRI as I haven’t been able to walk more than 5 minutes without intense pain and he said he doesn’t do MRI’s unless he is going to do surgery.
