My experience with Dr. Hommer was deeply concerning. I found him to be highly disrespectful, dismissive, and utterly unprepared for our appointment. His demeanor made me question his qualifications as a doctor, especially in a sensitive field like psychiatry. It is experiences like this that deter people from seeking the help they need. Don't go to him unless youre wanting to not be heard and him come into the appointment with his mind made up. He was super unprofessional and rude the entire apt and would shut your concerns down consistently. Also making wrong assumptions on work due to the clothing you wore. He was just very flippant and rude. Didn't adress anything necessary. Just shot it down without listening to the patients concerns or needs whatsoever first or getting to know the patient in any way. I dont even care if he sees this as he is my current Psychiatrist but Dr. Hommer has been so dismissive and disrespectful whenever we meet up for my appointments. Quite frankly, hes not a pleasant person at all! The last two 1 star reviews are not exaggerations because I’m a current victim of his behavior! He’s constantly always late whenever I join my appointments via Telehealth (Late as in 15 - 25 minutes which is absurd!)! He does not listen to patients. He is the worst. He does not do his due diligence either. He made serious mistakes in terms of administrative and diagnostic. The mistakes are because he is a poor listener and he has a massive ego. He thinks he knows everything and he will not let you tell him otherwise. STAY AWAY!
