Z Tejas dicriminates – Z Tejas at this location is not good for college students. They do not treat you with respect or care to have your service. They should pay more attention to this since we do make up most of the city in this area. It is ridiculous that you can be 22 and still be treated like a child. I would take my business to Iron Cactus instead.

I loved it! – My husband I went here on a visit to Austin and absolutely loved it! The ambience was nice and casual and it will always be a night that I remember.

rude management!!!!!!!!!!! – If you are a college student do not expect to be treated like an adult at this restaurant. We were told that we had an hour and 15 minute wait, but we waited up to 2 hours. To compensate for the wait we were promised free appetizers and drinks (we repeatedly told them we had 13 people). for tex mex, this place is hands down my favorite in the valley for it's atmosphere (it's in a great spot right in scotts. fashion square), food, and those margaritas. yeah, do yourself a favor and remember to order the chamborde margarita. no kidding, it will have to be the best margarita you've ever had. i've been going for years and everything i've tried on the menu is delicious (try the jerk chx salad & the apps) and don't think i've ever had a problem with them getting the order wrong (to rebutt that other person's grie... read more

Get Over Yourself Z Tejas – We called 3 times to place a takeout order and were put on hold for over 5 minutes each time. We are loyal and frequent Z dinners but not after tonight. The host was rude on the phone and had the WORST attitude of any service professional. Get over yourself Z Tejas and lose the attitude or you'll lose all our business and our clients!

Food Questionable – I have a hard time saying anything good about the food here. They have wonderful drinks and a great atmosphere, however every time I order a main dish I have to send it back....

all inclusive – Great main dishes, interesting atmosphere, goregous looking servers, and the best filet medallions. The complementary warm corn bread is to die for...

Great meeting spot – If you want an easy meal that tastes good, this is a good place. I like to meet friends or business associated here because you can talk over the meal. Sit outside if they're available. For dinner, plan on a wait.
