Fifteen years ago, I had major pelvic reconstruction surgery. Earlier this year, I began having problems again and was referred to Dr. Hsu for a consultation. She took the time to thoroughly examine me, explain all of my options, and educate me so I could make the decision I felt most comfortable with. I never felt rushed or pressured. I had a bad experience with her. I have prolapse and went to see if she could help me. She was very condescending and insensitive to my discomfort and when I asked her if there was anything I could do to help my prolapse she told me that pelvic floor therapy wasn't going to help me, and that I should come back to see her for surgery when I am done having kids. My experience with Dr. Hsu was truly 5 stars. I am so thrilled I chose to do the surgery with Dr. Hsu and use the Common Spirit Holy Cross Hospital. Everything about my overnight care was outstanding, The hospital was amazing, the nursing staff attentive and I felt calm and cared for every step of the way. My recovery has been much easier than I expected. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Hsu to anyone. She was fantastic and her office was especially attentive.
Had a prolapsed uterus. I am now 6 weeks out from my appointment. From my first appointment to my follow up Dr. Hsu was very knowledgeable and came highly recommended. My recovery was surprisingly easy thanks to her skill in surgery! I am grateful I listened to my gynecologist and came here. I am one year out. I healed amazingly. I have had no pain or complications. Everything is better down there than before kids! So glad I went with her!
