This appt. was one of the worst medical appts. I have ever had. The appt. was at 9:45 am & I met my son, (29 yrs old with autism & non-verbal) & his residential staff there at 9:40 am. From the receptionist to the medical assistant, their demeanors were rude & unprofessional, but that was not the only problem. I called to make an appointment and stated that I was concerned about a freckle on my face while scheduling. I waited three weeks for the appointment. Dr Hines spent approximately five minutes with me. She did not even examine the freckle I am worried about. I stated that I have a family history of melanoma but she said she would not do any cutting on the face and refused to even look at the freckle. Rudest dr I've EVER encountered - doesn't want to answer questions and basically ignores you, and when she gets annoyed by questions, just stares at you and asks 'are you done?' My insurance recently changed so I needed to find a new dermatologist. She was listed under my new insurance plan and had immediate openings. My first appointment she told me that my entire skin care routine was wrong and my face issues were my fault & to stop wearing anything but mascara and lip gloss. Highly recommend not to go here. Dr. Hines is not very friendly... I had high hopes to get good care but her attitude and some of the staff was not nice at all.

There are zero redeeming qualities for Dr Hines. She was hostile, condescending and uncaring . More importantly, she did not provide any concern for my situation. I went in with a suspicious dark spot on the back of my leg. I had to plead with her to look at it (because according to her the first visit is only a consultation)….and when she did she simply said I Do not do an examine on the first visit, we will look into next time. What a miserable human Dr. Hines is. I went here solely based on location to my house. For some issues I was having on my chest area. Upon my first visit she examined me from across the room. Never took a good look. I tried asking questions what could cause this and if there is anything I should be doing/avoiding. She told me "you would know better than me". Dr Hines talked over me, used a sharp tone, and didn’t ask my history. She talked at me as if I were uneducated. She made me feel very uncomfortable, and despite the pain and conditions I am experiencing, I will wait to find a different practitioner.
