WORST DOCTOR EVER- DON'T GO TO HER. she will demand you go back again and again for NO REASON other than to charge COPAY AFTER COPAY. the actual length of time she spent examining my condition was less than three seconds. it was a cursory, once-over glance, and i had to really press her for basic information like HOW TO APPLY THE PRESCRIPTION she was writing me, how long it would take to have an effect, which prescription to put on first...basic info! and then to get a refill of the tiny container i had to go BACK again and ... read more
This was the worst experience that I have ever had with a medical professional! Should be zero stars! I drove over 4 hours because I had searched for a dermatologist who was familiar with rare skin conditions and this website states that Dr. Hines is. When I scheduled my appointment, I said I would be paying out of pocket since my insurance is in Maine, and asked twice if Dr. Hines is familiar with Morgellons Disease, as the article on her website said she was. Bad patient care. She can be pretty rude and expects you to know everything about your condition without her telling you anything. I have had several appointments with her and multiple have left me feeling bad/judged by her. Go somewhere else
My daughter has been going to her for years and went in today with a new problem And was dismissed and treated disrespectfully Did not want to listen to her and seemed to not know her whole history? Only wanted to tend to her new issue and get it over with Bad bedside manner You should not leave a dermatologist in tears
I have a non pigmented mole on my chin. It has been there my entire life. Dr. Hines told me it was a white head but to confirm she would need to take a sample of it. I wasn’t allowing that. The last mole that was sampled from Hines left a rather large scar on my leg, never mind my face. The office smells old and like cigarette. It looks as if it hasn’t been updated since 1985. Location is convenient but otherwise, find an office with nicer staff.
Probably the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. She is rude, refuses to let anyone speak and or ask questions. Her medical license should be revoked. Seems that everyone who sees her needs a biopsy and everyone has psoriasis. Five different people that I spoke with all went through the same unnecessary procedure and were all diagnosed incorrectly according to other dermatologist. Horrible doctor and I've made sure I've told everyone I know and plan to contact the Mass Medical Board.
went to pick up my prescriptions. They asked if I had any questions and I said "yes, my dermatologist didn't even explain these to me."as we were going over the creams I pointed to the one for my eyes and asked "she told me to put this on my eyelid, does that sound right?" She looked at me very concerned & said "miss, this ointment isn't even supposted to go ANYWHERE NEAR your eye, let alone ON your eye! It's not sterile & would b dangerous if it got in your eye" Dr.hines put my Health in danger
She rates more than five stars. My brother went to see her. When I seek medical attention for myself or my family, I am not looking for someone who wins a popularity contest daily, I want a competent medical professional who will address and manage a medical issue. She is a superb professional with a no nonsense approach. She clearly knows her stuff.
