Poor Management- Never purchase merchandise – I went to Yuva on a Monday for a manicure and to purchase OPI nail polishes. After my manicure I picked out several bottles of polish and asked to get the new bottles from the back. The woman come out and brought the 7 they had in stock to the register. They put them in a bag, I paid and went home. When I got home and set the bottles on the counter it was obvious that there was polish missing from two of the bottles. Love my Eyebrows! – I was introduced to this place from my Co Worker, and since then I have been a regular at this beautiful Salon. Salon is super clean, and well kept. I get my Eyebrows Threaded and Manicure, Pedicure at this place. They usually stay busy in the evening so I like to go around noon time. All the girls are well experienced and professional. YUVA is the truely the BEST threading salon in NYC!!! – I went to this salon for my eyebrows and Brazilian waxing. This place is awesome. It looked very busy when i got there on Friday. Regardless, of the numer of people waiting, the specialist who did my waxing & threading was great. She consulted my face before she started threading my eyebrows. THREADING & WAXING...Perfecto! – I was passing by YUVA on 35th Street, and decided to get my eyebrows threaded...I was speechless at the results, amazing job of perfection! The staff is so amiable and caring, that I was tempted to ask about their waxing services and cleanliness. Eyebrows Threaded the right way! – Just moved into the city and ran into a wonderful place for threading and waxing: Yuva Threading Salon. Their look is refreshing and sticks to the meaning of their name, Youth! Its hip, trendy, and more than anything, they do a fabulicious job! They have three locations in the city, which makes it convenient for a traveling consultant like me. Two thumbs up for Yuva!
YUVA Eyebrow threading rocks!!! – I LOVE this place!!! I was going home after work and noticed their name Yuva threading salon with the list of services they provide. When I went upstairs, the receptionist was quite attentive and friendly in helping me. Threading my eyebrows turned out to be relaxing and amazing! I then had body waxing done and their policy of no double dipping was quite assuring for a person like me who is so hygiene picky! I give the team at YUVA 5 stars! YUVA Threading Salon - I LUV my Eyebrows! – This is going to be the place for all my threading and waxing needs! Their staff is friendly, professional, and caring. They get the job done right the first time without any pleas for fixing my eyebrow arches. The place is kept clean and sanitary and they even have a daily mani/pedi special for $20! fraudulent advertising – on monday, aug 24, i was stopped by a young man w/a sandwich sign on the street handing out fliers for this 'salon' and was told services were 50% off mon - wed. up in the salon there were several printed menu cards advertising the m- w 50% off deal, which included full leg wax. i went in for a full leg & bikini, and when i mentioned the 50% off, the aesthetician nodded in agreement, but i do not think she speaks & understands english very well. after the waxing, which was adequate at best, i was cha... read more
