I’ve been under Dr Mathai’s care for quite awhile ( prior to his current practice ) even then other providence staff referred to him as the “ hormone whisperer “. Back then there wasn’t pellets around here so started ion compound cream /troche’s. . After he opened his new practice - he shared with me the advantages of the pellets . I switched to direct primary care a few years ago and will never go back. I chose direct primary care because I was tired of the increasingly short office visits and the insurance constraints and pressures of regular healthcare. Dr. Mathai is incredibly skilled clinically and has an approachable, open manner which makes it comfortable to share any health concerns.
