I saw Yumi for the first time about 6 years ago. I went to her for some chronic pain I had in my leg, caused by nerve damage during surgery. She helped me a lot then (six years later the pain has never returned) but she also helped me overcome an eating disorder I was trying desperately to kick. I never would have sought acupuncture for an eating disorder but she had me tell her about different aspects of me and when that came up she asked if I would mind her helping me with it.
