Dr. Liu did DIEP flap reconstructive surgery after my second mastectomy. First, I must say that microsurgery component of re-connecting blood vessels must have been done well, because there've been no consequences from Liu's internal work. However, the outward part of his work I see every day is quite ugly, and looks clumsily done. The scar across my abdomen is wavy and has bulges above and below. very poor... argued with me about options... flatly panned the concerns I had about the result of reconstruction... refused to listen to my concerns about signs of infection and i wound up with MRSA, removal of the implants and in a total mess
