Dr. Chen listens and takes the time to explain things. He has seemingly endless nerve blocks and ablations to control pain. My only problem, and it's a big one, is that if insurance makes a payment and you owe a balance, even a small one, the billing office comes after you like a junk yard dog. They send you a strongly worded email on the eve of your next appointment and tell you that they expect you to pay when you come in. Only interested in doing high priced injections. His first question to me asked what injections I needed? Isn't that for him to decide? He would ask me a question and cut me off before I could answer completely telling me how I feel. I thought I was there to explain how I felt. He was also very short and confrontational when I asked him questions, often giving contradictory answers. PLEASE do yourself a favor and find a different doctor.
I am a complicated case and hypersensitive to pain, forget the name of the condition, but I have now an intrathecal pain pump that Dr. Chen implanted and manages himself and while it wasn't at first without a few bumps in the road (with the device only and how my body responded) I hands down stand by this Doctor a million times over. He has always been kind and considerate to me and his staff is by far the best ever!
I have known Dr. Chen for 10 years as a patient and now a friend. He has provided me with collagen injections for my left knee that has helped me avoid surgery for several years. He is well trained, kind and empathetic and does not use drugs as his first response to a pain problem. A wonderful doctor and an even better person.
Highly recommend Dr Chen. My pain relief after starting care with him is remarkable. Staff is friendly, thoughtful, humorous, overall great place.
Dr Chen is a brilliant man so very kind and very tender hearted to suffering. The office is very pleasant and all staff so caring. But the best is how he keeps my scoliosis back and hip free from pain
Dr Chin has helped me very much plus very caring and understanding. I was very apprehensive about this procedure but he makes it quite comfortable. His assistant Matt plus Nurse Melissa have always been very caring and understanding. Jennifer was extremely helpful to me with all my needs and concerns, always getting back to me with the info I needed. Lisa the receptionist is always kind and helpful.
Dr Chen is very professional and communicates well with what he will be doing.
Dr. Chen and his staff are very friendly and professional. Dr. Chen has listened to me when other doctors have not. I appreciate that he works with me to find a way to manage my pain. I like that he hasn't just given me a prescription and said I'll see you in six months like other doctors I've seen.
