My first visit to Dr. He was in May 2025. He and his entire staff were wonderful. He spent a great deal of time carefully explaining my unusual problem, and steps I could take to mitigate the situation. I look forward to seeing him again.

Switching doctors was the most productive thing to occur to me while under Dr. He's care. He wasn't sure what was causing my issues. He suggested it was most likely a prescription I was taking for an unrelated thing (despite the eye issues occurring years before the prescription, and me coincidentally not having had major eye events since I began taking the prescription). I developed epi-retinal membrane (macular pucker) in an eye about 4.5 years ago. It got correctly diagnosed by two top retina specialists (ophthalmologists) in Dallas area. It progressed rapidly till I couldn’t read normal sized letters on computer with that eye about 3 years ago. At that point, both doctors recommended the same solution of using surgery soon to peel off the membrane and also mentioned that after the surgery most likely cataract will develop in 2 years and a cataract surgery will be needed.
