They came out to do an estimate but never heard from them again. I tried emailing them to get the quote but no response.
We had Ted and his crew do a number of jobs -big and small for us in our 1980s "new" house in 2019. That was the original review as YS General Contracting and that small job went well. It looks like they changed their name to Evelated. Same verbatim reviews, photos, slightly changed phone number. We had them back 2021-2023 to do a garage addition and deck. Nice folks. Decent initial work. They did a small fence replacement and new gate while doing a bunch of work at our neighbours. Looked nice, price was $$$$. After a week one post of the gate started to corkscrew to the point the gate was not operable. Let the crew know, let the foreman know, let the owner know. 6-7 times. Got told, we will be back to fix it up. Last time they were onsite next door I went over and reminded them. They said can't do much with a corkscrewed post. Contacted YS to install a new Gazebo. Ted replied by email that they do this type of work and asked for a picture of what the gazebo looks like. I sent it to Ted and Ted never followed up. I sent a follow up email a few days later and still no follow up. I decided to call YS and left a message again a few days later however still no response. Weird, how hard would it be to send a quick email back saying no thank you.
Excellent job on my bathrooms. Everything was completed professionally with high attention to details. Always willing to answer my questions or make recommendations. Would definitely use YS General Contracting for any home improvement.
