Called a week ago about replacing the seals for the front differential on my trailblazer. I was told it would run 2000.00 for seals and bearings and worst case 2900 for major work. I brought my truck in today and was told it would be well over 2000. For seals and bearings and possibly over 3500. If it needed to be rebuilt.... I asked how much to swap out mine for a rebuilt one and was told 2900. Unless the receiving end was bad. And that I wouldn't get an accurate estimate until they took it apart. Seriously!? Had them replicate a coupler. Gave the them the old one to replicate so that mistakes were not made. Not apologetic about their mistake. The new one would not work, it was distinctly different. Would NOT use their service or recommend. Poorly handled.

RecommendedTook my Chevy van to youngs gear .had been making lots of noise, whining and houling noise . Making me crazy with all the noise. They diagnosed the problem quickly and gave me estimate .they rebuilt the front differential and now runs smooth and quiet . And the final cost was less than the estimate,these guys know there stuff . Thanks again youngs gear

Today was the first time that I've been to Young's Gear LLC, and they impressed the hell out of me. I brought in a badly dented rear driveshaft right after they opened and they had it fixed in the early afternoon. I couldn't be more thankful and impressed by the exceptional customer service and skill in that business. I was referred there by some work friends that also always have great experiences. Keep up the outstanding work! ��
I dropped by to see if they could shorten my aluminum driveshaft. They recommended building a new one out of steel so that's what we did. Four hours later they called and said my new driveshaft was ready. Great customer service!!

I apologize for the confusion. Not sure how this happened as we have never serviced automatic transmission here in the past. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuses this further.
Had a problem with something done on my truck. One of the owners actually called to try to make it right with me. Maybe it was a miss understanding, whatever. The fact he called was impressive. Make no mistake I won't go there for anything, but they at lest cared enough to call.
