Paid him $3000.00 as a down payment on a roofing job... He stated that he was having subcontractor problems ... Then refused to answer or return either phone calls or emails...has not returned our money and we ended up having to hire another roofing company to do the work...DO NOT hire him !!!
Contacted a company named PGC Home Improvement. Mike Young came out wearing a Young Roof Services shirt. He said it was his other company. Was given an estimate from PGC Texas. Thought it was weird, but he seemed very knowledgeable so we gave him a deposit to replace our fence on June 4, 2019. Never did the work and now he and his company are ghosts. This owner will say anything he can and lowball the price to get a deposit and apparently won't do the work. Do yourself a favor and keep looking.
Mike Young and his roofing crew were awesome from start to finish (including the clean-up)! Went with the Z-Ridge shingles along ridges and really like the look. Highly recommend these shingles and the galvanized roof jacks. I handled all the material cost and Young Roof Services handled the skilled labor and expertise. Very fair and honest pricing. Always nice to have a company exceed expectations within the residential building industry.
