The Yoshihiro chef knife arrived with a defective blade. I immediately reported that the blade arrived chipped and also dull because the bevel was defective and the blade had been improperly sharpened. Customer service tried to convince me not to believe my eyes. I sent numerous photos as proof. After some difficulty, I was finally able to get a mailing label from them with a request that I mail the knife back for an exchange or refund. Fair enough.
