I have been a resident at Yorktown Apartments for 3 years now. The first 2 years were ok and that is why I continued to live at Yorktown Apartments. Any positive experience I had within the first 2 years has been completely erased by my 3rd year living here. This place is a joke. Don't bother living here
Perfect place for living The office staff are great and friendly I have been here for about 2.5 year
I just moved out of Yorktown last month. Beware of hidden fees. We were charged a $350 fee on our move out that was not mentioned to us until after we moved. The apartment also has many maintenance Issue such as plumbing, elevators are always out of order, and no control of temperature. the Utilities are also very high compared to other communities. They also charge ridiculous fees for parking, $75-$100 to park in the garage. After a year they also raised are rent by over $100. Bottom line, Lombard is a nice place and there ... read more
we are moving...it is okay...staff is nice...maintenance crew great...personally, just do not like community laundry and the parking situation is crazy...also, it's supposed to be smoke free...it's not enforced and the hallways let you know this.
