We had Jennifer as our appraiser she came in with her cell phone as a camera didn’t ask any questions about upgrades to the home didn’t listen to us as we were trying to explain the upgrades. We are a corner unit with a finished basement with extra bedrooms and a full washroom. we also have a pool . She gave us an appraisal of $2000 less than a home behind us that just sold for 722 which they don’t have a finished basement and their lot is a third of the size of ours. I was extremely impressed with York Simcoe as a mortgage broker for over 15 years. This year, I had an appraisal company say a clients home was worth much less than market value. York Simcoe came out a week later and appraised the home for an accurate value. The house sold for EXACTLY what York Simcoe said it was worth (off only 5k) within a month of their appraisal. Fast turn around time and friendly appraisers. Highly recommend for home owners and mortgage professionals.
