We hosted my son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner at York River Oyster Company last week and could not have been happier! The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Natasha went above and beyond to add decor, and of course the view was spectacular. Another event was being held in the dining room next door, and Brandon and his staff did not miss a beat to be sure that everyone was accommodated. You guys took great care of us for our friend's bachelorette party. We had a great time and loved the atmosphere!
Awesome food and seafood selections great choice of wines also.
Atmosphere is Awesome, food was good! We had raw oysters, Fried shrimp and Ahi tuna stack & coleslaw (which isn't good-soggy old bay taste) Only thing to work on is kitchen services was extremely slow, not wait staff! They were great. There were only 8-10 tables full when we sat down that's inside and out. So it wasn't busy, we will go back and hope food service is a little better.
Tomato Basil Crab Soup was yummy. Broiled Scallop Platter not so much. Six scallops the size of a quarter, cole slaw, fries and 3 hush puppies $22.99. Could of order the same thing off the side menu for $19. Server said platter had more. Did complain and got a discount. 14 people in party, maybe 3 like their food but none of us will be back. Live in Hampton, much better seafood there!!
Been seeing a lot of great pictures on FB so I had to try it out. Great food, great staff, and good prices. Recommend to everyone, I just wish it was a little closer to my home and if it was warmer outside to enjoy the deck area. Looks like a great place to drop in after a back breaking day at work.
