I'm a bit of a she crab soup snob, so when I tell you it's great you know it's amazing!
I had the pleasure of eating at YROC the other day. I had not been there since it was the Rivers Inn. What a difference new ownership makes. Debbie Morrison was absolutely outstanding, as she handled our group effortlessly, at least it seemed that way to me. I live in Mathews but was joining friends who were part of a tour group brought in by Jimmy the Cricket Tours from Nashville, TN. The food was spectacular, particularly the She-Crab soup, crab cake, and beef tenderloin. My wife and I will become regulars.
Atmosphere, food, drink and service all great. A hidden gem.

York River's fried fish, shrimp, oysters, and crabcake was outstanding! Julienne vegetables, and mashed potatoes complemented the fish as well. My meal was amazing!
