I enjoyed getting my teeth cleaned today - everyone was very informative and helpful. It means a lot to me that my concerns are always addressed and I am treated with care. This is my favorite place to go for dental care - which is saying a lot for someone who used to be dental phobic.
Everything went smoothly. I didn't have to wait for my appointment very long and the procedures were explained to me. Everyone seemed competent.
Dr. Mjolsness and his aid were very patient in that I neglected to take my pre-meds one hour before. This was adjusted by the aid taking her lunch break after giving me the meds and allowing the one hour wait. Thanks to them my cleaning and exam(with a illing) was accomplished without having to reschedule. The meds will be taken properly for the next appointment.

My appointment was excellent. I was informed about any concerns, they were inquisitive about my concerns, my mouth feels alot cleaner, and I was given quite a few helpful suggestions on how to keep it that way. Everyone was friendly and seemed genuinely concerned for my dental well being. A breath of fresh air, really, from most of the other clinics I've been too.
I had acupuncture the morning of my procedure specifically for dental work. Virtually no pain during procedure and no pain even after novacain wore of about 5 hours later.
Ashley and Dr Healy were wonderful. Down to earth, professional, efficient, and personal.
A specialist for my TMJ refereed me to Southdale Dental Associates after a bad dental experience. The recommendation was so point on, that I left my consultation finally having faith in the dental field again. My pervious Dentist went out of his way to make me feel at fault and would lecture me in a condescending manner; while managing to rush to his next patient -leaving questions and concerns to his assistants.
