York County Rail Trail Authority is a volunteer, ten-member Authority formed in 1990 under the direction of York County Board of Commissioners. The Authority's mission is to enrich York County communities and countryside through the development of a network of public trails. The Authority, which is incorporated under the Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities Act of 1945, is a political subdivision of the County of York.

We love spending our weekends on the Rail Trail.
The trail during the day I'm sure is really nice. The night is a huge difference. I suggest that you definitely put the pumpkins up higher . I wasn't interested in looking at lit pumpkins through peoples feet. It was also very unsafe. I almost tripped several times. I would not have been comfortable taking kids or strollers on that trail. You need to find a way to better light the walkway. Perhaps hanging lights in the trees. The path gets very narrow at times. Having EMS through the trail would have been smart. Food...
