About this business
York County Rail Trail Authority is a volunteer, ten-member Authority formed in 1990 under the direction of York County Board of Commissioners. The Authority's mission is to enrich York County communities and countryside through the development of a network of public trails. The Authority, which is incorporated under the Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities Act of 1945, is a political subdivision of the County of York.

RecommendedWhat a beautiful trail that has it all! Scenic views of nature mixed in with a little city life to sights of the past! Not to mention the the views in the fall! Well maintained trail with very friendly people from all walks of life.

Be careful crossing at Glenn Rock - I veered to close to the track at the road crossing snd caught my front tire in the track - wrecked and broke my arm. Crossing needs a rubber gasket like the one in New Freedom.
