Top notch barbershop; it's truly a historical experience.
I found this place by accident while visiting New York with my boyfriend from San Francisco. I wanted to pamper him with an old fashion barber shop beard trim. I think the Barber's name was Lauren, she went above and beyond to make sure he was satisfied. We have decided to make this a tradition whenever we are in town!!
I have to say that this place is the top of the line when it comes to a true old school barbershop. Everyone who works there cuts and shaves at the same level and that level rises above all. I discovered this barbershop by accident one day making a fun day trip to the city. Now once a month I travel to this shop from Connecticut to get the best experience your money can buy. We live way up north near the border of Canada but have family on upper east side. Every time we visit, my husband gets an excellent haircut and shave from the fabulous Maru! Wonderful service, atmosphere and quality. The shop is clean and timeless!
I've been going to Enrique to have my haircut for 25 years and he is the best.
Really impressed with the haircut and level of service. Was made feel totally at home!
