Today was a rough day for my family. We had to make the rough decision of putting down our young cat, Lilly. The Vet and the Tech who handled us did an amazing job. They gave every option and the honest odds we had if we did them. When asked if she was in pain, we got the honest answer. Putting her down, they allowed us to hold her and stay with her the whole time. They allowed us to pay before hand so we could just leave. We have been going to York Animal hospital for two years now. They are wonderful. The staff is always kind and considerate. We just lost our dog Dorothy and they were so compassionate thru the entire process. Dr. Dan was quick to offer a much needed hug after. We just got our clay paw print today and I’m so grateful. We will be customers for life!!
Our baby Bassett Oscar Flynn was not well with an upset tummy after an emergency visit with Dr. Kay an xrays we found he ate something he should not have. Dr. Bruce was called in to do emergency surgery and we found the boy swallowed a rock. after removing the blockage they held him through recovery and sent us home with our baby. the girls called first thing in the morning for the next couple days to check in on Oscar. we returned for another follow up because the boy wont stay still Dr. Dan was quick to attend to him and h... read more
Amazing pet care from the start!!! They were able to get us right in. Dr Dan is amazing and was able to diagnose our pup within minutes, having treated her so quickly. We are also so very thankful her diagnosis was not life threatening. Thank you all at York Animal Hospital!!!!!
I have used York animal hospital since 2004 when I moved up here and could not be happier. They take such great care of my fur kids and they LOVE going to the vet. The techs are amazing and Dr. Morgan is wonderful to my dogs. They were both rescues and didn’t have the best start but she has managed to gain their trust and they adore her. The staff are always willing to help answer any questions and go out of there way. The environment is pleasant and plenty of seating. I would recommend this vet to everyone.
From the moment I scheduled my appointment to the second I walked out the door of their very busy office, my fur babies and I were treated with such kindness, good humor and respect, I can’t say enough about this animal hospital and its staff. They make you feel comfortable, they are knowledgeable and very patient with every fur baby and their “parents”. Wonderful office from top to bottom. The staff is very friendly and caring, the vet techs are nothing but top notch, the veterinarians are the most knowledgeable and caring doctors. I have been coming here for 14 + years. I drive now a hour away to come without a split second thought because I know my fur babies get exceptional care. I have never once felt rushed and I always have had my concerns and questions addressed. If your looking for a vet and/or boarding center this is the place.
