Dr. Heller is a great surgeon, knowledgeable but not pushy about surgery. He is also was on board with alternative pain management to increase the amount of time I was able to go in between the stronger pain medications, which eventually helped with weaning off of the pain medication completely. I’ll have my other knee surgery done next winter, to ensure that the first knee is strong and completely healed.
Had been with Dr. Heller before and hurt hip gardening. Dealing with complicated health problems. Was able to get an appt that day. Got x-rays and examined. Left feeling listened to and reassured. He is a very kind doctor. And a good surgeon (though I’m glad to not need that skill this time!).
