We were seated quickly but that was the only quick thing. The restaurant was not busy and was hot/loud inside. The walls have had alot of dirty spots and missing paint. No one waited on us for 15 to 20 minutes. As im getting ready to leave the waitress finally came. I asked a question about the seasonal pancakes and she disappeared for another five and went to other tables before coming back to ours. I asked for a water cup. Did not get it. We went to Yolk for Sunday brunch and there was no wait. Food was also serviced fairly quickly. Chicken n Waffle’s waffle had bacon pieces in it, and we really enjoyed with the gravy - they made a savory twist on this traditional dish. Monkey Nut Bread French Toast was not bad either, though the peanut butter was a little sticky when you put on a lot. S’mores pancake on the kids menu was also nicely done.
Really warm and friendly staff. Quick, the whole restaurant. Idk if I just caught them in a good day, BUT I’ll be back. Portions & taste are fantastic. Ambiance is truly warm and inviting. Definitely family friendly for all age groups!
