I agree with the other reviewers regarding Dr.Luks bedside manner, lack or time spent with me, and with the horrible experience trying to communicate with her office. If you have options seek another surgeon and save the grief.
Absolutely horrible!! Dr Luk was awesome, but we needed surgery and was told we would have a call within 2 days from surgery scheduler and we are on day 13 and I have left 7 messages with NO call back!!! The office staff has been rude every time I called in except once when I got Lisa, and she told me to call her back if I didn't get a call. When i called her back they wouldn't let me talk to Lisa!! I would stay away from this office until they can actually do what they say!! They would need all NEW staff!!!!

Dr Luke's bedside manor is not the best. Her answers are very short and her time spent with you is the same. She's also rough with you so if you're tender I wouldn't recommend her. I understand doctors are busy but I've had other doctors spend way more time with me. After my surgery I didn't see her for 3 days because she went on vacation directly after my surgery. Dr. Luk has an unique Caring & knowledgeable ambience filling the patient with ease. understanding and a confidence for his/her procedure.
Dr Luk performed surgery on me Feb 18 2019. a triple-hernia> inginual, umbilical, and sternum area. Done at The Villages FL hospital - in one day. Experience COULD NOT have been better - from intial appt/ pre surg to the day of surgery to yesterday which was the post-op appt. Dr Luk instilled great confidence in her ability with wonderful caring communication. Dr Luk will be my go-to Dr for general surgery if required in the future. A+++. She repaired my bilateral inguinal hernia via laparoscopic surgery. She is knowledgable, professional, easy to understand, and personable.
