I would like to share that Dr, Chen and his staff were the best for care and directions before and after surgery. I was with another insurance provider before I switched to my present provider which includes Dignity Health, and I was scheduled for a complete fusion with rods and pins and screws. I didnt like that option so I switched providers and was able to get Dr, Chen as my surgeon. He was able to perform very small invasive surgery. Dr. Chen and the entire staff provided optimal care and professionalism from my initial visit to my first follow up with a great N.P. Micha Y. to date. Dr. Chen's "bedside manner" relieved any apprehension that I may have had and instilled absolute confidence in his skills and knowledge. The Mercy San Juan campus from parking lot to the hospital and the adjoining clinic facility was extremely well maintained as well. Dr Chen and his PA Micah are absolutely the best! I came to the office after seeing other specialists that would not help me. I was in excruciating pain and could not walk, with another MRI Dr Chen agreed to do my back surgery on L5 S1, this has been life changing for me. He and Micah truly are the best. I had no quality of life before my surgery by Dr. Chen, I instantly had no pain in my leg after surgery and my back feels great!
